2009

5th September

Eastbourne Dynamos 5th September 2009

Dynamos kick off the new campaign with a new kit and a 2-2 draw against Eastbourne Galaxy.

14th July

Gary Taylor returns to take over the role of manager.

30th June

Steve Newson steps down as manager of Eastbourne Dynamos.

23rd June

First Open AGM

6th June

Third Annual Presentation night, which included a Quiz Night, sees Stephen Fletcher (Players Player), Neil Taylor (Supporters Player), Darren Vine (Managers Player) and Alex Speirs (Most Improved) collect the awards.

7th April

Season is finished in style with 3 consecutive victories. It began with a 3-0 victory against Ninfield, followed by a 2-1 victory over Red Lion, and then capped off with a 5-2 victory over Battle Rangers. The club finish in fourth place, their highest ever.

24th January

The Club record their biggest ever win, 8-2, against Hastings Rangers. Goals from Mark Goodwin (2), Neil Taylor (2), Dean Pugh (2), Jamie Drummond and Alex Speirs secured the win.

3rd January

Eastbourne start the year with a 5-2 win away to Ninfield

2008

25th October

27th September

Austin Ward suffers a serious head injury in the Cup game against Icklesham Casuals II and is ruled out for the rest of the season.

9th September

Eastbourne Dynamos kick off their League campaign with a 2-2 draw away to Beulah Baptists.

30th August

Team 30-08-08Eastbourne Dynamos secure a major sponsor for the future in Gas Plus, who supply the team with a new Green and White away kit, which their wear for the first time against Eastbourne Athletic.

24th August

The Club hold their first, and very successful, Quiz Night.

16th August

Pre-season friendlies get under way, with a 4-4 draw vs Herstmonceux, followed by a 5-0 defeat against Wheatsheaf Willingdon, finishing with a 2-0 defeat against Eastbourne Athletic.

4th June

Pre-season training gets under way.

17th May

Eastbourne Dynamos hold their second Awards Night. Austin Ward (Players Player), Neil Taylor (Managers Player), Mark Likeman (Supporters Player) and Dayle Courtier (Most Improved) were the winners.

12th April

Season ends in disapointment. Following on the back of poor results in the last couple of weeks, a much-depleated Eastbourne side lost 2 players to knee injuries during the game, and 10 players were the most they had on the pitch. The final result of 9-0 was Dynamos worst ever result.

2007

29th October

Manager Gary Taylor announces he is leaving the Club due to work commitments. The news followed the 2-1 defeat at home to Wadhurst.

3rd September

Eastbourne Dynamos start the 2007/08 season, their second year, in style with a 5-0 victory over Battle Rangers.

This was also their first ever competitive clean sheet.

2nd June

Eastbourne hold their first Awards Night with James Dale (Players Player), Dean Pugh (Managers Player), Martin Bell (Supporters Player) and Dave Moran (Most Improved) walking away with trophies.

7th May

Team 28-04-07

Dynamos end the season with defeat, but their good post Christmas form helps them avoid relegation by 7 points.

15th January

The Club secure their first ever league victory.

Dynamos twice came from behind before finally taking the lead in the 89th minute.

2006

16th October

Eastbourne secure their first ever competitive win with a 4-1 victory over Parkfield in the Eastbourne Junior Cup.

9th September

Team 09-09-06

Eastbourne Dynamos play their first ever competitive game down at Old Town Rec against Burwash in East Sussex League Division 3. Burwash win 1-0 thanks to a lucky goal from Kevin Bird.

8th September

Eastbourne Dynamos achieve FA Charter Standard.

3rd September

Eastbourne Dynamos finally secure their sponsorship for the Home kit from Birchwood Ford and receive their new Nike Kit just in time for the new season.

26th August

Eastbourne Dynamos win their first ever game, 5-2, against Willingdon AFC seconds, the Club's second ever game.

A Neil Taylor hat-trick, along with strikes from Wayne Burke and Dean Pugh secure the win, the last game before the League season kick's off!

24th August

Eastbourne Dynamos play Wheatsheaf Willingdon in a pre-season friendly, their first ever full 11-a-side fixture.

After a brave show, the Dynamos eventually lose 4-2, with Chris Milnes and Dean Pugh getting the goals for Eastbourne.

3rd August

Frame Up agree to sponsor Eastbourne Dynamos, and a cheque for £100 is handed over to the Club.

12th July

Eastbourne Dynamos hold first ever training session at Princess Park. 18 players take part in the session organised by Gary and Glenn Taylor.

5th June

East Sussex League place Eastbourne Dynamos in Division 3.

25th May

Club excepted into the East Sussex League for 2006/07.

18th May

All committee members attend the Club's League Interview in Robertsbridge.

23rd April

Club submit Portfolio to the East Sussex League.

3rd January

Web Domain is purchased and the website complete and up to date with all the latest information.

2005

31st October

The Club hold it's first Committee meeting in which the committee is formed. This includes Dean Pugh(Chairman and Club Secretary), Mark Likeman (Vice Chairman), Neil Taylor, Glenn Taylor (Coach) and Dannii Courtier (Treasurer).

The name 'Eastbourne Dynamos' is accepted, and the club badge and colours (Red and Blue) are agreed.

12th September

Dean Pugh first suggests starting a new club to friends.
