Dream Team 2009/10
With just over 3 weeks to go until the Dream Team Entry Deadline, we are already receiving teams ready for the big kick off.
We have just updated the players list (Sunday was the previous update), so now should include a few more players including Carlos Tevez.
If you are having problems with anything Dream Team related, then please use the contact form to let us know and you will have a response within 24 hours.
Sponsorship
We are currently in talks with a number of companies about sponsorship for the up and coming season. Once everything is confirmed we will let you know, but we are hoping to improve on last years brilliant sponsorship.
We have a number of things up for sponsorship this year, including this website, Dream Team 09-10, Awards and Quiz Night.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the Dynamos for next season, please let us know.
Friendlies
We are currently still looking for friendlies for the 8th and 22nd of August. We have a couple of clubs in talks with us but securing dates and pitches is becoming a problem.
If your club can play us on any of the above dates, and maybe host us, then please get in touch.
Another fixture has been added to the pre-season schedule. Battle Baptists will host the Dynamos on Saturday 15th August.
This should be a good test for Eastbourne, and will now allow Dynamos atleast 3 games before the season starts in September.

The Draw for the Sussex County Junior Cup has been made and Eastbourne Dynamos will be travelling to face Worth Park Rangers in the first round.
Dynamos have only ever been in this competition once before and have never been passed the first round so this will be the first task.
We are continuing to look for pre-season friendlies so if any teams out there are interested then please get in contact with us.
The Club are delighted to announce that former manager Gary Taylor has agreed to return as Eastbourne Dynamos manager for next season.
Gary will resume the role he left in October 2007 and will be involved in his first training session tomorrow. Gary will be assisted by Glenn Taylor, who will be helping with training and coaching.
Pre-season Friendlies
We are in the process of arranging friendlies for August in preparation for the new season. Please contact us if you are interested. Ideally we would like teams who have their own pitch, as we only have access to ours towards the end of the month.
Eastbourne Dynamos are again on the lookout for sponsorship for the forthcoming season.
The club require require new training and match footballs, and training tops. Also the Quiz Night planned for nearer Christmas is available for sponsorship, along with the end of season awards night. Also the popular Dream Team competition can be sponsored.
We are also looking to provide the players with match day training tops which can have your company logo printed on them.

It is with regret that The Club announce that Steve Newson has decided to step down from his position as Manager of Eastbourne Dynamos.
This follows the Club AGM last week in which the committee put a couple of propsals forward ahead of the new season.
"I have been thinking since meeting last week and I have decided to step down as manager. I think it is the best move both for the club and myself" Steve told the club.
The Club, committee and players would like to thank Steve for his work over the last year and wish him all the best for the future.
The committee will be meeting next week to discuss replacements and the AGM. Glenn Taylor will be taking training until further notice and an announcement will be made regarding the managers position next week.
Training
Training has been moved from Princes Park to Sevenoaks Road. It will still take place on a Wednesday at 7pm.
A reminder that the Eastbourne Dynamos AGM will take place tonight at 7.30pm in the Langney Sports Conference Room. Would like all players, staff and supporters to attend.
Web Site Maintenance
As many of you are aware, the web site was unaccessable last week for a number of days. We had a number of problems that led to this, but this week we have been told that our Web Host are to close.
This means that the people who host our web site have given us two weeks to move to another server before they shut theirs off. We plan to do this within the next couple of days, we will let you know once everything has been moved. In the meantime, you may experience some problems in accessing the web site. Please be patient and we hope to have everything back up and running again as soon as possible.
The Club will be holding their first open AGM on Tuesday 23rd June. Everything is up for discussion including fees, training, plans for the future etc.
The meeting will take place at 7.30pm at Langney Sports Club in the Conference room, which is located above the main enterance.
There is a committee place available that we would like to discuss at the meeting. If you think you would be interested, then please let a committee member know before hand.
Also, if you have any questions, opinions, ideas or anything else that you would like discussed at the meeting, then please let a committee member know before hand so we can plan it in with the other subjects.
This is your chance to have input into how the club is run, so dont miss your chance.

Presentation and Quiz Night
The Annual Presentation night took place on Saturday to finally cap another season. The night was a resounding success, with over £200 being raised for club funds, and with a lot of people in attendance.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped support the club, including sponsors, players, management and anyone else I've missed.
Pictures and results of the quiz will be available within the next two days.
Pre-Season Training
With the Presentation Night over, thoughts turn to the new season. Training will start tomorrow (Wednesday 10th June) at Princess Park, meeting, as usual, next to the mini golf course. Please be there for a prompt 7pm start.
All new players (especially defenders) are welcome as we look to build on last year.
Club AGM
This year will be the first time that the club will hold an open AGM. Anyone involved with the club are allowed to attend. The future of the club will be discussed, along with sponsorship, training and match days etc.
Be there to make sure your opinion is heard.
The date and venue have still to be confirmed, but it will be within the next two weeks and will take place one evening around 7pm with the venue likely to be the Langney Sports Club. Please watch this space for further information.
Saturday sees the conclusion to our season with the Presentation and Quiz Night at The Drive @ 7pm before we turn our attentions to next season.

Pre-Season Training
Training for the new season starts on Wednesday 10th June @ 7pm. It is set to take place at Princess Park, but we are currently looking at another venue which may provide us with better facilities. So watch this space.

League and Training Details
Eastbourne Dynamos players had to enjoy the long Easter break with no football. The league title is no nearer being decided as both Hurst and Cinque Ports recorded wins.
Training has now finished, and will restart nearer June, the exact date will be confirmed by the end of May.
An update to league table and results will be completed by the end of the week, or head to the ESFL website if you can't wait for that.
Dream Team
The Dream Team Table has been updated, so the latest table should be available.
Awards Night
The Eastbourne Dynamos Annual Awards Night will take place at The Drive on Saturday 6th June. The night will include the popular Quiz night from earlier in the year (with new questions obviously), and the customary Raffle. As usual, all family and friends are invited to celebrate the end of the season.
For all players: If you have not yet done so, please let Steve have your Players Player nomination ASAP.
More details on the Awards Night will follow shortly.
Eastbourne Dynamos finished their third season in style as they swept past Battle Rangers in their final game.
Neil Taylors first hat trick for the club and a brace from Stephen Fletcher saw Dynamos run out 5-2 winners.
Eastbourne won their last three games to put them third in the table, they will have to wait and see once all the other games have been played if that is their final position.
