Eastbourne Dynamos kicked off their League campaign with a 2-2 draw away to Beulah Baptists, with Jamie Drummond grabbing both Eastbourne goals.

A much improved performance for Dynamos but there is a good feeling in the camp that they can play better.

Just a reminder that there is no Dream Team update this week because it's International week, updates will return next Monday.

The squad for Saturday's final friendly is due to be decided tonight. With a total of 18 players available, Steve is only able to take 14 with him.

He has an eye on the first game of the season, and will be hoping to play the players he wants for that game.

There are bound to be some players disapointed with being left out Saturday, but they must remember that last season we struggled with a lack of players, so to have this many available is a bonus. Plus, we already know of a few players who are unvavailable during the first few months of the season, so there will be places up for grabs and chances for players to prove they deserve to be in Steve's starting 11.

Competition for places will only make us a better team and keep us all on our toes!

The fixture list has been updated, Saturday 23rd August, Dynamos play Wheatsheaf Willingdon in a rematch of the Club's first ever official game.

Wheatsheaf had a fantastic season last year, winning Division 2. They had claimed the trophy undefeated, but then lost their remaining two league games.

This will provide another good test for Eastbourne before the new season starts.

Important Information for Players

A few players have already signed for the club, but we need those who have yet to do so. We need to have as many in as possible to send to the league before the deadline. Also, Steve would like to know who has actually signed on for the club before we start our pre-season friendlies as those players will take priority in games.
