More information regarding time, team entry and prizes will be available soon.
Everyone is invited so please bring along family and friends to make up teams.
Eastbourne Dynamos would like to announce that Birchwood Group, who own Mazda and Ford in Eastbourne, have agreed to sponsor the club this season. They have donated £250 towards club funds.
Thanks must go to Birchwood and new committee member Keith Pugh for organising the sponsorship. Birchwood continue their support of the club after providing the current Home Kit.
We hope to have further sponsorship announcements in the next few weeks, until then we are still looking for further sponsorship ready for the new season, so if anyone can help then get in contact with us.
On a seperate note, new manager Steve Newson took charge of training for the first time on Wednesday, he thanked the committee for the opportunity and was looking forward to the new season.
We also hope to announce in the next couple of weeks the pre-season schedule, so watch this space.
It's finally here! The new Eastbourne Dynamos website goes live today. Check out the new site, a few extra features like the Gallery and an up to date Scrap Book. If you spot anything wrong amongst the 300-odd pages, then please let us know!
Also in the Dynamos news this week, Steve Newson has been appointed the new Dynamos manager, and takes charge of his first proper training session tonight.
We have a few bits of important information, plus more about Steve, but we will save that for tomorrow.
I know a lot of people are happy and pleased with this current website, but I have felt it's been in need of a change for a few months now. When you create as many website's as I have, you gain experience with each one, and this current website lags behind some of my latest ones. Plus this site doesn't conform to a lot of web standards (causes problems between browsers and doesn't follow coding rules).
I have been working on a new improved site on and off for the last month, and it's nearing its final stages now. There are a few kinks I need to iron out, plus most of the content needs to be copied across. But the majority of the work is now done.
I don't want to give an exact date on when the new website will take over, because I will probably miss it! But I do plan on having it in place within 2 weeks, but it might take longer if any unforeseen problems occur.
Please check back here on a regular basis for the latest news on the update, and I really hope you will all be impressed, as I think this new website looks really classy and is by far one of the best I have created yet.
Yes Pre Season training starts this Wednesday down at Princess Park (By the bench next to the mini golf course) for a 7pm Start.
Please can everyone make sure they are there as we prepare for the new season.
First Aid People Needed
Yes our current crop of life savers have seen their certificates expire, and we are looking for as many people as possible to send on a two-hour course to qualify as a First Aider. Glenn Taylor, Dean Pugh and Helen Walker have already volunteered, but it would be good if we could send a few more people on this FREE course. There should be a group of us so you wont be on your own.
If you are interested then please contact Dean.
Here it is, the final Dream Team update of the 2007-08 season. There are some close moments as the final weeks points are uploaded.

This seasons awards night will be held on Saturday 17th May at the Slug and Lettuce (same place as last year) start at 7.30.
We would be grateful if players could help out with raffle prizes and food for the evening like we did last year.
Please also invite all family and friends as they are all welcome and we would like as many people as possible.
Dynamos season ended with disappointment as a much-depleted side faced a Wadhurst side in good form.
Dynamos only ever had 10 players on the pitch, and one of those was Captain Austin Ward who was replaced by Glenn Taylor, who was recovering from a knee operation, after only 5 minutes after injuring his knee.
Dynamos were also reduced further when Mark Likeman, suffered the same fate, injuring his knee, when he landed awkwardly only 10 minutes into the second half.
The rest of the players battle on bravely but were no match for Wadhurst and the visitors eventually lost 9-0.
Please keep an eye out for further announcements on this website regarding next season and the end of year awards night once everything has been discussed at the next committee meeting this week.

A much depleted Dynamos side lost 5-1 to Robertsbridge. They started the game with 11 men, but injury to Courtier forced Dynamos down to 10. Stephen Fletcher registered his first goal of the season. A disappointing result following on the back of last weeks defeat.
